The non-alcoholic portfolio at Henkell Freixenet saw double-digit growth in 2025, the producer said in its latest report.
According to the company, demand for non-alcoholic products was particularly on the rise among younger, health-conscious consumers.
Within this, Mionetto 0.0%, Freixenet 0.0% and Mionetto Aperitivo Non-Alcoholic proved to be the largest growth drivers, with a recorded revenue increase of 18% across all regions.
On the shift, Dr Andreas Brokemper, CEO of Henkell Freixenet, said: “The development of non-alcoholic products will play an important role for the company in the future alongside our core business with alcoholic products.”
Elsewhere in its 2025 results, Henkell Freixenet reported that sparkling wine continued to be a major area of success.
In the Prosecco market, the Mionetto brand achieved 3% revenue growth, which was above the market average of 2% growth.
By comparison, Cava products produced by Freixenet struggled, resulting in a 4% decline in revenue for the master brand.
The company suggested that this was due to ongoing droughts in the Penedès region, which have impacted production, availability, cost and pricing.
Brokemper said: “The good news is that rainfall has increased again, the harvest turned out better and the conditions for the 2026 harvest are favourable, even though it is still likely to remain below the long-term average.”
Also in the sparkling wine category, Crémant saw more favourable results, as Henkell Freixenet’s Crémant brand Gratien Meyer grew by 14% in revenue.
This was led by key markets, including France, Germany and the United Kingdom, where interest in the style is surging.
Overall, the producer noted a strained global economy and cautious consumer spending. “In this environment, Henkell Freixenet held its ground. The global sparkling wine and wine market declined in 2025, yet certain sub-segments – including Prosecco, Crémant, non-alcoholic sparkling wines and aperitifs – grew,” said Brokemper.
