Henkell Freixenet has announced a strategic focus on the Asia-Pacific region as it aims to grow its brands globally.
As the first step in the expansion, the company will showcase its portfolio at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, set to be held in Singapore this May.
According to Henkell Freixenet, it plans to promote global icon brands such as Freixenet and Mionetto in the Asian market over the course of 2026.
It added that it wants to take advantage of trends around Prosecco, aperitifs and the low & no movement.
In particular, the industry leader said it sees strong opportunities in travel retail growth, though it is set to keep an eye on all retail channels.
Ramon Olivé, head of sales global travel retail at Henkell Freixenet, said: “The Asia Pacific region which we are targeting for future growth is becoming increasingly important for us.
“Over the past few years, we’ve already secured several key listings, and we continue to see steady, positive traction. That momentum shows us that consumers here are connecting with our brands and that there is meaningful potential ahead.”
He added: “Innovation is part of who we are, and this year we’re coming to TFWA Asia Pacific with one of our most exciting pipelines yet.”
