The team behind the Specialist Importers Trade Tasting (SITT) have revealed the dates for SITT Autumn 2026, as well as details of the upcoming masterclasses.
This year, SITT will be taking place on Monday 21 September at St Mary’s Church, Marylebone, in London. The second event will then happen two days later, on Wednesday 23 September, at etc.venues in Manchester.
Set to explore key wines and regions, as well as issues shaping the independent trade, masterclass highlights include Rebecca Gibb MW speaking about the growing appeal and value of Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
Elsewhere, Filippo Bartolotta is set to explore the traditions and potential of Abruzzo’s Cerasuolo and Pecorino. Plus, Sonya Hook, editor of Drinks Retailing, will lead a panel on ‘The Business of Wine: Trends, Threats & Opportunities’ in discussion with the WSTA and independent retailers.
On this year’s itinerary, Samantha Halliday, commercial direction at SITT, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing SITT back to London and Manchester this September.
“We’ve got a fantastic line-up of specialist importers and an exciting programme of masterclasses, and we’re looking forward to welcoming independent buyers for another busy and productive couple of days.
“We’re continuing to focus on buyer engagement and making sure that everyone who attends gets real value from the day.
“The masterclasses are an important part of that, giving buyers the opportunity to discover something new, hear from industry experts and producers, and take away ideas they can use in their businesses.”
