Whisky producer The Macallan is set to open its first UK domestic boutique at Harrods tomorrow (19 June).
Located in the former Baccarat Bar, adjacent to the Harrods Fine Wine & Spirits Department, the boutique reflects growing consumer interest in premium in-person shopping experiences.
According to the brand, the boutique will offer one of the most extensive selections of The Macallan’s single malt Scotch whiskies available outside its estate in Speyside.
The Macallan will also launch a Harrods-exclusive release, created in collaboration with Spanish painter and illustrator Javi Aznárez, who designed the packaging for The Macallan Rare Cask 2026.
In addition to offering The Macallan’s range of whiskies, the boutique will feature a personalisation and gifting station, including an engraving service.
The space will also include a sampling bar, which can be transformed into a fine-dining venue for private experiences.
Jaume Ferras, creative director at The Macallan, said: “Opening our new boutique at Harrods marks a major milestone for The Macallan, expanding our presence in London and building on our ambitions of delivering standout retail experiences for consumers across the globe.”
André Lewis, head of buying for food, wine and spirits at Harrods, added: “We are thrilled to deepen our long‑standing relationship with The Macallan through the opening of this exceptional new boutique at Harrods. Our customers come to us in search of the world’s finest craftsmanship and most compelling luxury experiences, and The Macallan consistently delivers both.”
