The 2026 Penfolds Collection, set to be released globally on 6th August, has been well received by critics across the world, according to the producer.

Both new vintages of Grange (2022) and Yattarna (2024) received perfect scores from Matthew Jukes following a tasting event, which offered critics the opportunity to preview wines from the 2026 Penfolds Collection. The tasting event coincided with celebrations in Europe for the 75th anniversary of its flagship wine, Grange, hosted by chief winemaker, Peter Gago AC.

Commenting on the new release, Gago said: “The 2022 Grange assuredly authenticates its flagship role and 75th Anniversary credentials. No pressure. Both timely and lucky to avail such a stellar vintage in such a symbolic year.”

Grange 75th celebrations in Europe will continue this autumn, with Grange 1990 being poured at the Golden Vines Awards Gala Dinner in London on Saturday 7th November.

The collection includes wines from Australia, the United States, France and China. Wines from the Penfolds Collection 2026 will be released in key markets globally from 6th August 2026.

In UK and Europe, the wines in Penfolds top tier range from the new Collection will be available to trade customers through negociants within the La Place de Bordeaux network from Tuesday 8th September. These wines include: 2022 Penfolds Grange, 2024 Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2024 Bin 789 RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz, 2023 St Henri Shiraz, and 2024 Yattarna Chardonnay.
