Entries for the International Beer Challenge 2025 close on Monday June 16, following an extension to the original end-of-May deadline.
The competition is open to brewers worldwide and is split into two areas: the Taste Awards and the Design and Packaging Awards.
Organisers have said the competition aims to celebrate the full diversity of beer styles, with highlights set to be featured in Drinks Retailing in print and online.
IBC commercial director, Samantha Halliday, said: “We’ve seen a fantastic response so far, with entries coming in from as far afield as Taiwan, Brazil, USA and Australia, as well as strong representation from across Europe and the UK. This year’s judging panel brings together a brilliant mix of talent, including award-winning beer writers, journalists and buyers from both major retailers and independent beer bottle shops, as well as brewers and certified cicerones.
“The IBC is about recognising and celebrating brewing excellence worldwide – and for many, it’s a platform that can help open doors to new markets.”
The judging day will take place on July 23, with winners to be announced on September 12. As in previous years, the chair of judges is beer writer and expert Jeff Evans.
