After four years as president and CEO of Rémy Martin and its Louis XIII category, Jean-Philippe Hecquet has confirmed that he will be stepping down.

Before his time at Rémy Martin, Hecquet held the position of CEO at the luxury clothing brands Lanvin and Sandro.

He will now be moving on to become president of the French company Vivacy, known for its high-end skincare products.

At Rémy Martin, he is said to be replaced by the current global executive director, Amaury Vinclet.

Vinclet has worked at the company for over 13 years in a range of roles, including vice president of the Americas, Louis XIII director for the UK, marketing manager for the UK and senior international brand manager for Louis XIII.

In a statement, Hecquet said: “After four intense and inspiring years leading the magnificent Maison Rémy Martin, the time has come for me to turn an important page. It has been an honour to contribute to the development of this iconic House, whose unique savoir-faire and shared commitment to excellence have defined every step of its journey.

“I want to express my deep gratitude to my teams for their passion and unwavering dedication, to the regional teams who never give up, to those within the Rémy Cointreau Group, and to our vineyard partners who embody, every day, the excellence of our terroir.”
