The Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) has announced the full line up for its 2025 Industry Summit, featuring key figures from both the off-trade and on-trade.
The summit will contain a panel on “how geopolitical shifts are reshaping the outlook for UK wine and spirits”. Topics will include India’s recent tariff changes, President Trump’s return and the evolving UK trade policy.
Panellists include Jane George, public affairs and sustainability director at Campari Group; Julian Dyer, COO of UK & Europe at Australian Vintage; and Sam Lowe, partner at advisory firm Flint Global.
The panel and wider conference will be chaired by Alex Forrest Whiting – broadcaster, conference host and media trainer previously known for her role as a presenter on ITV.
In the on-trade, restaurateur Jeremy King has been named as the event’s headline speaker and will reflect on his years in hospitality.
The summit will conclude with a networking drinks reception.
On the summit, Miles Beale, WSTA chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have the evergreen, globally respected restauranteur, Jeremy King, to kick off our revamped Industry Summit.
“The panel session has been designed to bring together industry experts who will help us unpack what’s happening now, what’s coming next and where the real opportunities and risks lie. We have highly experienced stalwarts of the wine and spirits sector alongside trade and WTO experts from both the public and private sector. We anticipate the mix will provide a grounded, practical conversation that goes beyond the headlines.”
