The WSET School London are launching an inaugural LGBT+ speed dating night, designed for wine lovers, set to take place on 1 October.

According to the WSET, the evening will bring together queer singles over a series of wine, snacks, quizzes and wine-themed challenges, hosted at the WSET School London on Bermondsey Street.

The organiser said that the evening will feature two speed dating experiences happening at the same time, one in which women can meet women, while the other is targeted at men looking to meet men. Both are trans-inclusive.

Upon arrival, guests will be served a welcome drink. Additionally, a wine and cheese-based group competition will be held in the foyer.

On the upcoming evening, Richard Harding, principal at WSET School London, said: “Wine is about so much more than what’s in the glass – it brings people together, creates conversation and helps us discover new things. We wanted to take that spirit and create a fun, welcoming evening specifically for LGBT+ wine lovers.”

The organisation added that guests are welcome to book whichever experience feels best for them and that the team is open to questions beforehand. More details can be found via the WSET website.
