William Grant & Sons has announced two changes to its leadership team in the UK and EMEA regions.

Caspar MacRae will take on the role of marketing director for UK & Ireland, taking over from Gary Keogh, who has been promoted to regional marketing director of the EMEA region.

These announcements come as a result of changes to the global commercial structure at William Grant, which now consists of three regions: a newly created EMEA region, the Americas, and Asia.

MacRae joins the UK & Ireland business from his role as global brand director for Irish and American whiskeys at William Grant, where he led the development and launch of Tullamore DEW’s global campaign ‘Beauty of the Blend’ and the ‘DEW and a Brew’ platform. He joined the company in 2008, having previously held roles at the Edrington Group.

Keogh joined the UK business as marketing director in 2013 following four years as global marketing manager on Glenfiddich.

Neil Barker, managing director UK & Ireland, said: “Gary has been monumental for the UK business and I admire the passion he has for William Grant & Sons’ ‘dram by dram’ approach to building brands for the long-term. He will be a fantastic asset to the new EMEA region. Caspar brings with him a wealth of international knowledge and experience of working with our brands and business. I know he will settle in quickly as we begin our 2018 journey and I look forward to working with him as we enter a new phase of growth.”
