Whitley Neill is adding to its range of gin flavours with a limited-edition Gooseberry variant, launching next month.

Whitley Neill Gooseberry Gin, which brand owner Halewood is hoping will be “a big seasonal hit this Spring”, is the first limited-edition expression for the brand.

The gin, which joins the brand’s 10-strong gin portfolio, delivers aromas of cinnamon, fresh pear and apple on the nose, along with undertones of vanilla and white pepper.

The 43% abv newcomer will be priced at £26 and will be available next month from Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Asda.

Leanne Ware, white spirits director at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said: “This limited-edition Whitley Neill Gooseberry Gin is the result of in-depth market data highlighting that consumers are demanding even more flavour innovation from the gin category.

“Whitley Neill’s extensive portfolio of premium flavours has resulted in a loyal following around the world in the on and off trade, so we are perfectly placed to raise the bar with this exciting limited release that delivers again on taste, flavour and design.”
