The Vineyards of Hampshire has announced the launch of its annual trade tasting event.

The group of leading Hampshire winemakers will be showcasing their wines at The Stafford Hotel in central London on 6 February between 10am and 4pm.

The group comprises seven vineyards, including the first trade appearance for newest member Raimes English Sparkling.

Hampshire is the third largest wine producing county after Sussex and Kent; the region is known for its rolling valleys with rich microclimates, and an abundance of chalk soils, which are considered to be perfect for producing quality English wines.

New products will also be on show at the event, including Jenkyn Place’s new rebranded wines, Hattingley Valley’s new limited edition traditional method sparkling red pinot noir, Raimes English Sparkling’s new vintage ‘2014 Classic’, newly released vintages of Denebury’s still whites, and Exton Park Vineyard’s first Magnums of their Brut Reserve NV in gift boxes.

The Vineyards of Hampshire comprises: Hambledon Vineyards, Hattingley Valley, Danebury Vineyards, Exton Park Vineyard, Jenkyn Place, Cottonworth Vineyard and Raimes English Sparkling.
