Canned wine company The Uncommon has taken over the Waitrose Bar in the King’s Cross store, in celebration of English Wine Week.

The Uncommon’s canned English bubbly wines will be served at the bar until June 23.

The takeover, a follow-up to the B Corp’s month-long pop-up in Covent Garden, will feature the winemaker’s illustrations and an English wine masterclass led by Phil Norman, head of wine, on June 20.

The activity includes front-of-store and outdoor tastings as well as chances to win branded merchandise and a picnic basket and blanket from Coco & Wolf, valued at £650.

Henry Connell, co-founder of The Uncommon said: Waitrose was one of our first ever listings and it’s amazing to see the growth and to now be able to bring this bar to life. King’s Cross in the summer is the ideal opportunity for us to bring people into our uncommon world.”
