The Cotswold Distillery is launching a small-batch Wildflower Gin Collection, which rolls out across the UK this month.

The first expression is No.1 Wildflower Gin, which is a blend of cornflowers, locally-grown lavender and orange, layered with the distillery’s classic London Dry gin.

Dan Szor, founder and chief executive of Cotswolds Distillery, said: “We have been delighted with the reception of our original Cotswolds London Dry Gin since its launch in 2014, winning over 30 industry awards and gaining listings in key on trade accounts and with high end retailers.

“We were inspired to create No.1 Wildflower Gin by the long, relaxing drinking occasion and this, coupled with the impressive growth in the spritz market, led us to create an exciting addition to our gin portfolio that can be enjoyed in a refreshing new way.”

Cotswolds No.1 Wildflower Gin is a full-strength gin, presented in a clear glass bottle with an eye-catching label decorated with native British wildflowers.

The gin is made by distilling a London Dry base which contains juniper, coriander and angelica root. The spirit is then blended with essences of orange, lavender, cornflowers and rhubarb root before adding a touch of sugar and filtered water to bring the final bottling strength down to 41.7% ABV.  The result is a “fragrant gin bursting with natural flavour and delicate floral aromas of summer meadows”.

No.1 Wildflower Gin is now available to consumers with a recommended price of £34.95 via
