That Boutique-y Gin Company has extended into the RTD category with five of its gins mixed as cocktails and packaged in 33cl cans.

The new Craft Cocktails will initially comprise five flavours: Moonshot Gin & Citrus Tonic; Spit-Roasted Pineapple Gin Mule; Cherry Gin & Craft Cola; Strawberry & Balsamico Gin Fizz; Squeezed Yuzu Gin Collins.

The Boutique-y team sais they are embracing an approach to the RTD category that is “more akin to craft brewing” and they plan to keep the range continuously evolving, with future variants, one-off batches, collaborations and seasonal lines in the pipeline.

Selina Raggett at TBGC, said: “We want more people to have access to interesting drinks in more places. We know that drinkers are looking for increasingly exciting and sophisticated flavour combinations, and that putting these in cans will allow retailers to satisfy the demands of convenience and ease of service without compromising on flavour.

“The Craft Cocktails we’ve developed are delicious and adventurous, made using our award winning spirits as a base. We’ve embraced the true Boutique-y style at its boldest, moving away from the traditional gin in a tin look and feel. We’ve taken inspiration from our Boutique-y labels to create something that’s really eye-catching.”

Most of the variants will sit at 4.5 to 5% abv apart from Moonshot Gin & Citrus, which is 7.2% abv.

The Craft Cocktails range has launched with gin but the producer said That Boutique-y Whisky Company and That Boutique-y Rum Company will also extend into the RTD format as the selection grows.

Raggett said: “That Boutique-y Gin Company is well known for pushing the boundaries with exciting releases and new flavours, and the Craft Cocktails will continue this ethos. We’re already working on an exciting wave of new releases!”

The range will initially launch in the UK this summer followed by a launch across Europe and then Australia and New Zealand.
