Following its premiere in 2024, Swiss Wine Week will return to London in November 2025.
The event will include a series of tastings and masterclasses, furthering Switzerland’s aim of establishing a long-term presence for Swiss wine in the UK market. This will be followed by a second Swiss Wine Week, taking place in Singapore.
At present, export rates of Swiss wine account for only around 1–2% of overall production, with most products remaining in the domestic market.
Swiss Wine Promotion, the national body for the promotion of Swiss wines, noted that there is a “growing recognition and visibility of Swiss wines in key international markets”.
Jasmin Schmid, export project manager at Swiss Wine Promotion, added: “The two Swiss Wine Weeks 2025 in London and Singapore mark an important step in showcasing the diversity of Swiss wines worldwide.
“We want to demonstrate that Swiss wines, with their quality, authenticity and uniqueness, can hold their own even in the most competitive markets.”
Taking place from 6 to 11 November, the line-up of events includes: a fine wine tasting; a masterclass on Syrah in the Valais; a masterclass on the Swiss Wine Vintage Award; a masterclass at the WSET; another at the Wine Guild of the UK; and a series of walk-around tastings for the trade, press and public.
