Il Palagio – the Tuscan wine brand co-owned by musical artist Sting and his wife Trudie Styler – has launched in the UK. 

The couple has co-owned the estate, which dates to the sixteenth century, for almost three decades. Now, five wines named by the couple will be available to UK consumers. 

The selection includes 2022 Message in a Bottle, Vermentino IGT, a wine with aromatic notes of white fruit, apricot, almond, wildflowers and herbs; 2020 Sacred Love, Rosso Toscana IGT, characterised by ripe cherry, liquorice, violet and dark chocolate notes; and 2022 New Day, Rosato Toscana IGT, a rosé which displays aromas of raspberry and cherry on the palate. 

2022 Message in a Bottle, Sangiovese IGT will also be released, with notes of red fruits and sweet spices. Finally, 2020 Sister Moon, Rosso Toscana IGT, is coming to the UK with notes of black pepper, liquorice and blackberries. 

The vineyard team assembled by Sting and Styler includes oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, and the wines are to be distributed in the UK by Zonin1821.
