Delibo Wine Agencies has expanded its portfolio with the addition of the Footprint range from South Africa’s Western Cape.

The range comprises six single varietal wines and two blends, Chenin/Semillon and Merlot/Pinotage. All are line priced and have an rrp between £7.49 and £7.99.

The wines are produced by African Pride and crafted by winemaker Mike Graham, who is said to have uncompromising belief that each wine should have its own individual character.

David Wright, sales and marketing director at Delibo Wine Agencies, said: “This is an exciting addition to our evolving portfolio. These wines at these prices will serve well both the on and off-trade.

“They are distinct, well packaged, taste great and are well priced, particularly for the year ahead which will inevitably be challenging in the current climate. To secure wines such as these is very exciting and we look forward to building distribution throughout the UK.”

Delibo was set up by James Fleetwood in 1996 and was renamed Delibo in 2005 after the Latin word “delibare”, meaning “to sip”.

Its portfolio includes Chilean producers In Situ and Rio Alto, SA Prüm from the Mosel in Germany, Portuguese producer Terra de Alter, Route du Van from Australia, Champagne J de Telmont, Chéreau-Carré from Muscadet, Vignobles Roux from Bordeaux, and Reserve de Fleur and Dom Julien Cornud from the Rhône.
