Independent retailers are urged to sign up for Agile Media’s SITT Autumn tastings taking place in London and Manchester next week.

Buyers can discover an unrivalled collection of intriguing wines and spirits produced by a plethora small, family-run operations, while also benefiting from educational masterclasses.

The London tasting takes place at the Honourable Artillery Company near Moorgate on Monday, September 9, from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Then it heads to ETC Venues I Manchester on Wednesday, September 11, at the same times.

It brings together the boutique and bijou wine producers and independent importers targeting the on- and off-trades. Expect to find exciting, hand-crafted quality, by passionate small-scale producers.

Within the amazing list of 40 exhibitors you will find New World and Old World Specialists, covering countries as diverse as China, Morocco and Lebanon, along with cider and spirits.

Independents love to buy direct, so with this in mind we have gathered together a few producers who sell direct to the independent on- and off-trade sectors. Discover Quinta da Pedra Alta from the Douro in Portugal, a group of South African producers brought by Robinson & Sinclair, plus European specialist TC Vineyards and the iconic Chateau Musar.

Alongside many new exhibitors, there are companies that poured their wines at the very first SITT tasting more than 15 years ago. For the Love of Wine, Peter Osborne Fine Wines, Seckford Agencies, Raymond Reynolds and Moreno Wines are just some of the intriguing producers taking part.

One masterclass sees Andre Morgenthal presenting 10 wines from the Old Vine Project at Wines of South Africa, while Julian Langworthy will present vertical tastings of Reserve Chardonnay (2013-2015-2017) and Reserve Cabernet (2010-2014-2016) from Deep Woods Estate, Margaret River.
