Sicilian boxed wine brand Alileo has joined the Sustainable Wine Roundtable (SWR), the leading global platform advancing sustainability and best practices across the wine industry.
Launched in 2021, Alileo is a wine brand created by husband-and-wife team Antonio Bertone and Alexandra Drane. It is produced in partnership with Bertone’s family in Sicily.
This news of Alileo joining the SWR follows the recent announcement that the company received its B Corp certification in 2025. It says it creates natural, low-intervention wines using traditional methods.
On joining the SWR, Bertone said: “We are proud to be joining the SWR and furthering our commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability in the wine industry.
“Since the moment we started Alileo, it has always been our intention to build a brand that disrupts the status quo in the industry and drives change for the betterment of our communities and environment. We look forward to collaborating with SWR and other members towards our collective goals.”
