The Society for Independent Brewers and Associates
(SIBA) has partnered with Women On Tap to launch the 2026 Beer Industry Diversity & Inclusion Survey.

Sent exclusively to SIBA members this month, the study aims to discover what is preventing SIBA members from improving inclusion and diversity in their workplaces.

Made in collaboration with Women On Tap, the survey was formed with insights from the community interest company, whose mission is to champion women in a heavily male-dominated industry.

According to Women On Tap, the survey looks at the specific barriers, behaviours, perceptions, knowledge gaps and support needs of SIBA members.

Women On Tap continued that the responses will be used to create a report and an action plan, setting out practical steps to support positive change. Both will be shared later this year.

Responses are set to close on Friday 28 August, with SIBA members who complete the survey acknowledged as contributors in the final report.

Rachel Auty, executive director of Women On Tap, and Neil Walker, head of comms and marketing at SIBA, both commented that the survey is vital.

They said it marks an important step in building an evidence-based picture of where the industry stands and what is needed to move it forward.
