Majestic is embarking on a six-week “festival of fundraising” to raise money for its Majestic Charitable Foundation.

The Small Majestic Acts campaign will see teams from across the business raise money in a variety of ways throughout September and in early October.

The company said the aim was to show how small gestures from colleagues, customers and suppliers can add up to make a big impact.

Each of Majestic’s 217 stores will host a charity tasting during the campaign, with proceeds from ticket sales going directly to the foundation, which has three national charity partners: the Brain Tumour Charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably and Child Bereavement UK, all nominated by Majestic team members.

Stores will also be giving customers the chance to donate 25p at the checkout through Majestic’s partnership with fintech charity Pennies, a tie-up that began in December 2024.

Since then, 1.1 million Majestic shoppers have raised more than £260,000 by adding a donation at the till, and staff will encourage even more of them to do so during “Micro-Donation Week”, which runs until Sunday (September 6).

Majestic’s annual Charity Golf Day is on October 8 and staff will also tackle personal challenges to raise funds during the campaign.

Supplier Félix Solis has pledged a donation of £10,000 to mark the 10th birthday of its The Guv’nor wine, Majestic’s best-selling red.

Jacqui Rouse, group people director at Majestic and trustee of the foundation, said: “Times are tough for a lot of people right now, but thousands of small Majestic acts from our friends, family, colleagues, customers and suppliers over the next few weeks can add up to make a massive difference for our incredible charity partners.”
