A premium coffee liqueur from New Zealand is gearing up to secure listings in the UK.

Quick Brown Fox is handcrafted in Dunedin, New Zealand, and it is described as balancing complex notes of coffee “with a clever hint of cinnamon in its tail”.

The producer uses a blend of fair trade and organic roasted coffees from farms in Sumatra, Columbia and Papua New Guinea, along with a dash of cinnamon from India.

The 20% abv liqueur is recommended served as a digestif neat or on the rocks but it can also be used in cocktails and desserts.

On the palate it is described as tasting “like dunking a spiced cinnamon roll with a sweet caramel chocolate syrup centre in a dark roast French press coffee. Decadent, rich and seductive”.

Founder, Arjun Haszard says: “I found myself curiously obsessing over coffee, and all its complexities. It was an incredibly difficult path to create a coffee liqueur with nothing artificial but what we’ve created is truly distinctive and an experience for the palate.”

Each 50cl bottle (rsp: £25.25) is handcrafted and handfilled. Bottles can be purchased in the UK from Master of Malt and Whisky Exchange.
