Pinkster is introducing a 35cl bottle in time for the summer to sit alongside its existing 70cl and ‘dinkster’ 5cl editions.

Tephen Marsh, managing director, said: “Whether for picnics or parties, we are repeatedly asked over the summer months about a smaller bottle. So here it is, a pocket-sized Pinkster fit to grace any social occasion.

“If it already sells half as well as Gin Jam, our last launch, then it’s busy times ahead. We introduced this teatime tipple made with inebriated raspberries in February. It is flying off the shelves and we’ve already sold 10,000 jars.

“The nation’s appetite for anything gin related shows little sign of slowing up.”

Pinkster is infused with fresh raspberries grown locally to the company’s Cambridge headquarters, giving the gin its distinctive light pink hue and delicate fruity flavour.”

The company raised £1million in 2016 via crowdfunding – smashing its £600k target – to finance expansion plans.

Marsh added: “The raspberry revolution, as we like to call it, is fast gathering momentum. As well as unveiling new products, we have also moved premises and staffed up in the last few months. With so many fine gin brands out there, we are just please to be offering something refreshingly different.”

The 35cl Pinkster is priced at £24.
