Pernod Ricard UK has appointed Philip Ainsworth as its new Marketing Director.
Ainsworth, who previously held the position of Marketing Director of Wyborowa Pernod Ricard, will report to Laurent Pillet, Managing Director.
He replaces Patrick Venning who worked for Pernod Ricard UK for 13 years. Venning left the role to take up his new position as Global Marketing Director for Ballantine’s Finest and Introduction to Scotch Portfolio at Chivas Brothers – the Scotch whisky business of Pernod Ricard.
Pillet said: “Our marketing department continues to inspire and innovate the industry, by consistently delivering engaging campaigns for our premium portfolio of leading brands. This is testament to Patrick’s leadership and we have ensured his successor possesses the same drive and determination to make us stand out.
Venning started his career with Majestic Wine in 1997, before working for a range of companies including Enotria Winecellers and Bodegas Riojanas. He joined the company in 2008 as International Regional Manager.
