Drinkaware scores rugby support for safe message
The Drinkaware Trust has teamed up with Guinness Premiership rugby clubs to promote responsible drinking
during the festive season.
Players from
London Irish launched a campaign called Tips for a Christmas to Remember alongside a Drinkaware black cab, one of 300 taxis displaying advice to partygoers in
the City
this month.
Ten-thousand
Christmas "tip cards" will be given to licensed cab passengers in London, containing practical tips, unit guidelines, and links to a 24-hour helpline and drinkaware.co.uk.
Drinkaware's chief executive Chris Sorek said: "Drinkaware is delighted to support
this. By distributing tip cards at rugby fixtures, we hope to offer practical guidance to club fans who want to have a merry - and memorable - Christmas."
