Sloemotion Distillery launches Finders Spirits as part of portfolio overhaul

A Yorkshire distillery has redefined the branding for its spirits ranges while also introducing a new collection of drinks.

Sloemotion Distillery is now the mother brand to three independent sub-brands: Hedgerow Spirits, Sloemotion Liqueurs and the newly-launched Finders Spirits.

The company recently invested in its premium artisan Hedgerow range with the launch of a Hedgerow Botanical Vodka, and now it has also developed a new mid-tier Finders Spirits range of rums, vodkas and gins.

The new collection, which will be launched next month, focuses on natural botanicals and ingredients sourced from around the world. The range includes seven drinks – comprising two rums, three gins and two vodkas - which are produced and blended at the Yorkshire distillery.

Finders Spirits is the first new brand from the family distillery, which is renowned for using foraged hedgerow botanicals in its small-batch gins, vodkas and liqueurs.

The range has been developed by Sloemotion’s master product developer, Jan Richards and head distiller, Ian Mansell. It includes two rums: Oak Aged Orange & Raisin; and Chocolate & Coffee. The two use oak-aged botanicals like coriander, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel and muscovado in the Orange & Raisin, and mace and liquorice in the Chocolate & Coffee rum.

There are three gins: a classic London Dry Gin, which uses 17 botanicals including lime peel, lemongrass, cassia bark, juniper, coriander, angelia orris, citrus peel and spruce; and also two “fun bot modern” variants, which each use 19 botanicals. These are Fruits of the Forest and Lemon & Lime. A Sherbert Lemon Vodka and a Pure Vodka completes the range.

Finders Spirits will be priced £25 per bottle with a launch promotion of £20 per bottle.
