Nisa reveals festive in-store booze deals for retailers

Nisa has launched a range of in-store alcohol deals to help its retailers drive footfall and sales over the Christmas and New Year period.

The promotion, which runs until December 31, is supported by a bespoke marketing campaign including themed POS to help create in-store theatre.

The offer, which sees a number of alcoholic drinks priced at up to 30% off, features a range of different options including gin, Prosecco, wine, beer and pre-mixed drinks.

The promotion includes Budweiser 12x30cl at £7, Beefeater Pink Gin at £12 for 70cl, Peroni 12x33cl for £12, I Heart Prosecco 75cl for £6 and a range of white, red and rose wines priced at £5.50 each.

The promotion follows research which shows more than 65% of shoppers spend more than £100 on alcohol at Christmas (Drinkaware, 2019).

Nisa’s head of trading for BWS, Asa Chamberlain, said: “Research has shown that more than two-thirds of Brits now stay in on New Years Eve, so providing our retailers with an array of options at a fantastic price will hopefully boost sales over the festive period.

“Shoppers are not only out on the hunt for their tipple of choice, but for drinks for their guests on the big day as well as bottles for gifting purposes, so now is the perfect time for our retailers to capitalise on this spike in the market.”
