Walker & Wodehouse's Autumn Tasting event includes South African focus
Walker & Wodehouse has revealed its Autumn Tasting in London will include a focus on South African wines, supported by the chance to meet producers and sample wines from the region while also enjoying food from a braai.
The event will be held on September 4 at the Drop Wine Bar at Unit 22-24 Bagley Walk Arches in Coal Drops Yard, N1C4DH.
The tasting, which will take place between 10am and 1.30pm, focuses on the company’s Christmas Specials. It will also feature some “Weird & Wonderful” favourites and visitors will also be able to meet a raft of producers as part of its South Africa special.
After the tasting the company’s South African producers will be treating guests to a braai from 1.30pm to 4pm, during which more wines will be available to taste.

Walker & Wodehouse is one of only a few wine merchants to hold a Royal Warrant. The company was formed in 2009 following the closure of English wine company John Harvey & Sons. The new company built on the 215-year legacy of its predecessor and it works with growers and suppliers across the world to offer exclusive wines to independent merchants and regional wholesalers across the UK.
