Kopparberg now has a pink gin
Kopparberg is venturing into the popular pink gin category with a premium variant infused with its iconic strawberry & lime flavour.
Kopparberg Premium Gin, which will launch in Morrisons on May 22 and Asda on June 1, is double distilled over a two-week period to deliver a London Dry-style gin infused with strawberry & lime. The fruit flavours are combined with notes of juniper, lemon zest and coriander botanicals.
The gin will be available in a 70cl bottle as well as a 25cl single pre-mixed 5% abv can (where the gin is mixed with lemonade) and a 4-pack of 25cl cans. The canned format will be available to buy from Spar from May 23 and Asda from June 1.
The producer said it has worked with mixologists to develop two serves: one is over ice, mixed with lemonade and garnished with slices of fresh strawberry and lime; the other is mixed with tonic and garnished with cucumber and basil.

Not many know that we brew and distill many other drinks in our brewery in Sweden, and with more than 10 years’ experience in distilling gin, as well as our success in flavour leaders here in the UK and around the world, it was an obvious decision for us to introduce Kopparberg Premium Gin in one of our most iconic flavours.

The new variant will be supported as part of Kopparberg’s £6 million Outside is Ours marketing campaign, which will see support across TV, Digital and Out of Home formats. Kopparberg Premium Gin will also be available at festivals this summer including We Are FSTVL (24 to 26 May); and Made (27 July).
