Waddesdon Wines bolsters team to cope with increased demand
The UK distributor for Rothschild wines has bolstered its sales force with the appointment of two account managers.
Georgie Kukielka and Lauren Boyes will work on Waddesdon Wine’s existing client base and on promoting its new Tuscan winery, Luce della Vite.
This Montalcino-based winery is a collaboration between the Mondavi and Frescobaldi families and is now back under sole Frescobaldi ownership.
Waddesdon’s other wineries include Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA (Mouton), Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Baron Edmond de Rothschild, and Champagne Barons de Rothschild.
The Rothschild wineries consist of 27 estates across four continents and produce wine in Bordeaux, south of France, Napa, Chile, Argentina, New Zealand and South Africa.
Luce della Vite is the renowned collaboration between the Mondavi and Frescobaldi families. Established in the late 1990s, the Montalcino based winery is now back under sole Frescobaldi ownership and distributed by Waddesdon Wine.
Kukielka joins from gastropub and hotel group Longshot Country Inns. Where she worked as drinks operations and wine development manager for Bel & the Dragon.
Boyes has a master’s degree in wine business and events management and distribution and has spent many years as a wine consultant and marketing manager.
