Truly Irresistible wines to hit Co-op shelves
A six-strong range of wines under the Co-operative’s premium own-label Truly Irresistible is to reach store shelves next week.
The range aims to give the Co-op’s buying team a chance to show customers some of the most interesting wines they have found in recent months.
The wines are to be promoted over Christmas to encourage shoppers to try them out.
They include a Godello 2012 from Spain (rrp £8.49), a Pays d’Oc Viognier 2012 (£8.99), a Gavi Broglia 2011 (£9.99), a Loire Chinon 2011 (£9.99), a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2011 (£8.99) and a Casablanca Pinot Noir 2012 from Chile (£8.99)
Wine trading head Simon Cairns said: “We are really excited about the new Truly Irresistible wine range. This concept will allow our passionate team to share with customers some of the more interesting styles and varieties that they have discovered recently. The range will be boosted with even more wines in the new year, and we are confident that our customers will be persuaded to try some different wines, as the Truly Irresistible brand is a sign of great taste and good quality throughout our food stores.
“With a store in every UK postal area, the Co-operative is perfectly placed for shoppers to pick up delicious wines in convenient locations.”
OLN first reported that the Truly Irresistible wine range would launch here.
