Virgin Wines launches mobile version
Virgin Wines has launched a mobile phone version of its website.
The online wine retailer said it would offer a stripped down version of virginwines.co.uk with the option of buying pre-selected or mix-your-own cases and a stremlined ”my account” facility.
Future plans include the addition of auctions and a function for customers to rate wines.
Managing director Jay Wright said: “During the last year we have seen a significant increase in the amount of visits to our website from mobile devices.
“We have launched the mobile version in response to this, bringing our brand closer to our customers and those people who like to intereact with us via a mobile device.”
