Abbey Well joins Coke portfolio
Coca-Cola has added a new bottled water to its portfolio following its acquisition of Northumberland-based natural mineral water source Abbey Well last month.
Launching under the Schweppes umbrella, the brand will be encouraging consumers to get active with an offer of free swimming lessons to consumers.
As part of Coke's sponsorship of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, Schweppes Abbey Well will
be
offered at London 2012.
A Coca-Cola spokesman said: "Using the strengths of the Schweppes brand and the marketing and distribution capabilities of the Coca-Cola
system in GB, we will be able to offer this high -quality
natural mineral water to more people across the country."
Schweppes Abbey Well joins a water portfolio that includes Malvern and Glac éau Vitaminwater.
