USP: House of Suntory’s Roku Gin is launching its first limited edition gin with floral notes of Sakura blossom. Inspired by the peak of Japan’s cherry blossom season in spring, the gin is now available in Tesco, and is set to be launched in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s in the coming weeks.

USP: Halewood Artisanal Spirits has launched the inaugural release from its Bonnington Distillery in Leith, with 500 bottles entering the market. Bonnington Single Malt is a single cask, Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, aged in ruby port casks.

USP: 6 O’clock Gin has introduced the latest addition to their Distiller’s Archive Series: Elderflower Gin. Following the inaugural release, Spiced Orange and Cranberry Gin, launched in autumn last year, Elderflower Gin is a blend of traditional botanicals infused with the essence of elderflowers.

Hattingley Valley Valentine’s Rosé 2020

USP: Hampshire winery Hattingley Valley is releasing a limited edition version of its sparkling Rosé 2020 ahead of Valentine’s Day with a pink, heart-shaped label. It is available as a single bottle, in a gift box with a handwritten note (£50) or, as part of a luxury gift set with two tulip glasses and a golden Hattingley Valley bottle stopper (£90).

USP: Nice has released two lower abv wines (3.4% abv), a Sauvignon Blanc and a Merlot, with the aim of replicating the taste and mouthfeel of a full-strength wine while catering to consumers who are moderating their alcohol intake. 

Berry’s Own Selection Champagne Rosé Extra Brut

USP: Berry Bros & Rudd has launched its first ever Berry’s Own rosé Champagne. Made by producer Leclerc Briant, the wine is a blend of 93% Chardonnay and 7% Pinot Noir resulting in notes of marzipan and raspberry. 

Domaine Bousquet’s Virgen Vineyards Organic Malbec 2022

USP: Argentina-based exporter of organic wines, Domaine Bousquet, has launched its first wine with Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC) into the UK: Virgen Vineyards Organic Malbec 2022. The Gualtallary Valley-based estate became the fourth winery worldwide – the first outside the US – to achieve ROC status in 2022.

Orbit Beers Belgian Wit Peel

Sandford Orchards x Moons Cider Orchard Moon

USP: Devon-based cidery Sandford Orchards has collaborated with fellow producer Moons Cider to create Orchard Moon. The partnership came about after Moons was crowned the winner of Sandford’s Breakthrough Cider Maker Awards 2022. 

Vault City Iron Brew range

USP: Edinburgh-based brewer Vault City has relaunched its Iron Brew sour beer – inspired by soft drink Irn Bru – alongside two new beers: Iron Brew Float and Fiery Ginger Iron. The range will be available in around 100 bars across the UK and on Vault City’s website.

T&R Theakston’s Quencher

USP: T&R Theakston’s new 3.4% abv Quencher received an “incredible” on-trade reception when it launched last year. Now, the brewer is bringing Quencher to the off-trade. It is brewed using pearl barley and English grown Sovereign and Eldorado hops.
