On the nose, the drink presents floral, slightly grassy notes of freshly tapped palm sap. The taste profile balances fruity and warm, earthy tones, with notes of vanilla, green banana and dark spices. The brand said it wants to broaden perceptions of palm spirit and celebrate West African heritage.

London Distillery Company Ten Times Around the Sun

Victorious by Les Malandes

USP: Laithwaites has launched Victorious by Les Malandes, made with 100% Voltis, a hybrid disease-resistant grape grown for a more sustainable future. The variety was created by France’s INRA and Germany’s Julius Kühn as part of a project on PIWI varieties. Laithwaites has described it as being like a complex Chardonnay or super-charged Muscadet.

The former has an illustration of vocalist Jason Williamson, while the latter shows instrumentalist Andrew Fearn.

It continued that since its launch in 2024, Cold Beer has driven lager volume growth.
