Mirabeau is extending into gin with a pink variant to match its iconic rosé wine brand.

Mirabeau Rosé Gin is made using the grape alcohol extracted during the dealcoholisation process producing Mirabeau’s new lower alcohol rosé, Forever Summer.

The gin was inspired by the abundance of botanicals growing wild on the producer’s wine estate near Saint Tropez. The gin uses grape-spirit as its base and juniper is a dominant component in the recipe, along with other botanicals such as rose petals, lavender, jasmine, bay, thyme and rosemary. The producer’s Classic Provence rosé is an element in the distillate.

The gin will launch exclusively with Waitrose this month, priced at £35 a bottle.
