Amid the growing popularity of agave-based spirits, Mezcal Reina has launched a range of RTDs.
Tapping into the mezcal market, which is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 10% through to 2027, according to IWSR, the brand said it wanted to showcase the versatility of the spirit.
Mezcal Reina, which first debuted in the UK market in February 2026, said it is launching two single-serve cocktail cans: Paloma and Mezcalita.
According to the brand, the Paloma offers a delicate mezcal flavour balanced with pink grapefruit and lime. The Mezcalita, meanwhile, combines notes of lime and bittersweet orange with a mezcal base.
The brand’s owners added that both cocktails are made using Mezcal Reina Espadín, a liquid developed specifically for use in RTDs.
CEO of Mezcal Reina, Susana Franyutti, said: “The incredible cocktail culture in the UK inspires us to look for ways to showcase just how delicious fresh and versatile mezcal can be.
“For us, our RTDs almost become educational tools – approachable entry points into the category and helping make mezcal more accessible without compromising on quality.”
COO Monica Torroella added: “The development process for the Mezcal Reina Mezcalita and Paloma took nearly two years – firstly because it’s important to find the right production partners aligned with our values. And secondly because with the fresh citrus and authentic mezcal that we’re using, you need to ensure complete stability in the canned material.”
