Mangrove has been appointed as UK distributor for premium French organic vodka Le Philtre.
The vodka brand has a distinctive bottle made from recycled glass waste. Each 70cl bottle is available in either green or blue, depending on the type of reclaimed glass used in production. The bottles are intended for reuse as vases or decorative pieces, extending their lifecycle beyond the last drop being poured.
Nick Gillett, managing director of Mangrove Global, said: “Le Philtre has already aligned itself with iconic outlets and partners in Europe, like Galerie Lafayette, luxury hotel Le Ritz, and La Grande Epicerie de Paris (part of Bon Marche). It is also listed in the 1st class of Air France, earning its position as a stylish and luxurious spirit for the discerning drinker.
“It offers UK consumers an elevated tipple and sophisticated drinking experience, at a manageable price point. The bottle looks equally distinctive in a back bar or spirits shelf, making it a real standout spirit.”
The vodka is produced in Cognac, using organic winter wheat and naturally fermented Gensac spring water. It is distilled six times in total. The liquid is then rested for 15 days, resulting in an exceptionally pure vodka, made without filtration.
Le Philtre is available in 70cl and 35cl bottles, priced at £39 for 70cl.
