The Malvern Hills Vineyard group has said it anticipates a bumper harvest this year, following a warm summer in the UK.

Made up of six independent vineyards across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, this year marks the group’s first harvest as a collective, following its formation in June 2025.

The vineyards involved are Three Choirs, Chase End, Bromesberrow Place, Foxbury Fields, Marlbank and Two Beacons Vineyard, all of which joined the group to raise awareness of wine coming out of the Malvern Hills area.

Between them, the members grow over 14 different grape varieties across more than 35ha.

At the same time as the harvest update, the Malvern Hills Vineyard group also celebrated winning 50 national and international awards in 2025 between the vineyards.

Jeremy Macklin, chair of The Malvern Hills Vineyards, said: “This year has been a wonderful collective success for our members, as wines of all varieties from across the three counties have won national and international awards.

“This is a brilliant testament to the quality of the wines being produced in the region – and we predict wines produced from this year’s harvest may be even better as early signs across all our members’ vineyards indicate one of our best harvests yet due to the long, hot summer.”
