Les Vignobles Foncalieu plans to launch “an original range breaking new ground in the Languedoc”.

The Ensedune wines are produced from exogenous grape varieties planted in the soils around IGP Coteaux d’Enserune. The non-native vines, which have been planted over the last 40 years, have been nurtured by a group of passionate winemakers to produce the new range.

Each of the six cuvees is signed by one of the winemaking team, and the range includes six different single grape varieties: Marsanne, Muscat Sec, Cabernet Franc Rose, Marselan, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

Later this year Les Vignobles Foncalieu will celebrate its 50th anniversary since the formation of the co-operative in 1967.

The new range will be revealed at the London Wine Fair later this month.
