Kopparberg is bringing out a cherry variant to add to its collection of fruit ciders.

Kopparberg Cherry will launch exclusively in Tesco from February 3, before it becomes more widely available across Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons stores from the beginning of March.

The newcomer is a combination of light and fruity elements of apple cider with a hint of cherry.

Rob Salveson, head of marketing, said: “Fruit ciders continue to be increasingly popular in the UK, and due to increasing demand for new flavours, we are excited to be launching our new cherry flavour to the UK off-trade. Our focus on delivering a variety of much-loved crisp and refreshing flavours is what we feel sets us apart from other ciders on the market.”

The 4% abv cherry variant will be available in Asda for a 50cl bottle (rsp: £2.20)or 10x33cl bottle packs (rsp:£12). Asda will also be offering four for £6 for the 50cl bottles.

In Morrisons the 50cl bottle will be £2.30 (or 3 for £5) and in Tesco it will be £2.20 (or 3 for £5).

Last summer Kopparberg introduced Kopparberg Rosé and it also extended into spirits with Kopparberg Gin.
