The results for the International Cider Challenge 2025 (ICC) have now been revealed, with the Supreme Champion Trophy going to Orchard Reserve from Robinsons Cider, which was also named Best Tannin-Led Cider.
Wild Disco from Nightingale Cider Company received a Highly Commended award for Supreme Champion. It also won a trophy for Best Acid-Led Cider.
At the same time, in the Design & Packaging category of the ICC, the trophy for Best Range went to Savanna Premium Cider, owned by Heineken Beverages South Africa.
Four gold medals were also given to Savanna’s individual ciders in the individual product category.
In total, ciders from 16 different countries were entered into this year’s awards. Nine gold medals were awarded across the Taste and Design & Packaging awards.
TASTE AWARDS
The Taste Awards were judged by a senior judging panel, led by cider writer and ICC chair Adam Wells.
On the quality of cider this year, Wells said: “I’m delighted with the overall quality of this year’s ciders and perries – the best across the board in the years I’ve been judging the competition. There were standouts in all categories, and from so many countries around the world. This year’s entries represent the huge step forward that cider has made, and I hope we see that continued momentum in years to come.”
