Hambledon Vineyard has appointing a new managing director, following the acquisition of the business by Berry Bros & Rudd and Symington Wine Estates last year.
James Osborn, who was most recently on the English wine consultancy team at Knight Frank, will take up the role in April.
He replaces interim managing director Johnny Roberts.
Emma Fox, CEO of Berry Bros & Rudd said Osborn brings a wealth of expertise in the English sparkling wine sector and will be “instrumental in leading Hambledon’s growth plans”.
Rob Symington, director of Symington Family Estates, added: “Developing the senior leadership team is an important part of our plan to grow Hambledon Vineyard. James is very experienced and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
