Halewood Wines & Spirits plans to shake up the tonic category with its latest launch.

Lamb & Watt is a premium range of tonic waters in flavours of Basil, Original, Hibiscus and Cucumber.

The tonics, which are made with natural ingredients blended with Willow Mineral Water from the Lake District, quinine from the cinchona tree and organic blue agave from Mexico, are available in 20cl glass bottles.

The Lamb & Watt brand was born back in 1847 by founders Mr Lamb and Mr Watt, who created ranges of fresh cordials and syrups. The newly re-invigorated brand is designed to reflect their passion for sourcing premium ingredients to enhance drinks.

Leanne Ware, brand manager at Halewood, said: “The tonic category is in growth as consumers are looking for high quality mixers to complement their premium spirit choices.

“In response to this growth, we have created Lamb & Watt partly to complement our own expanding premium spirits offering but also to make our mark on the premium tonic category. We predict this brand will be a disrupter for the current booming tonic category, and will offer bartenders a refreshing point of difference to enhance the enjoyment of a variety of premium spirits, as well as offering an alternative to a non-alcoholic tipple.”

The brand will initially be launched into the on-trade with off-trade focus expected to follow later in the year.
