Genius Drinks is adding to its portfolio of alcohol-free wine alternatives with a new pink variant.

Botonique Blush is set to join Botonique Crisp White, which was launched in 2016, with the aim of providing and alcohol-free alternative to wine with low sugar and added health benefits.

Both variants have been crafted by wine expert Hilary Marsh and Blush is designed to look like a sparkling rose, although it contains no grapes or alcohol.

The drink has a bouquet of strawberry, rose and bramble, which is followed by flavours of citrus, ginseng and milk thistle seed.

Marsh said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our brand with the launch of Botonique Blush, a new and unique British-made natural, sparkling non-alcoholic drink “with extra added Summer”, Botonique Blush pre orders have certainly surpassed all expectations and we are looking forward to discovering Blush’s potential in the nonalcoholic drink sector.”

Blush also retains the beneficial aspects of Botonique Crisp Dry White with Prelixir, according to the producer. This is a “unique blend of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, which alcohol is known to deplete”.

As a result, Blush is able to provide anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, alkalising and hydrating benefits, according to Marsh. It also contains just 17Kcal per glass and no added sugar, artificial sweeteners, flavours, colours or preservatives.

The drink comes in two sizes: 75cl (rsp: £7.99) and 25cl (rsp: £3.99).
