Fields, Morris & Verdin has added the Norfolk-based Flint Vineyard to its portfolio.

Flint Vineyard was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team Ben and Hannah Witchell, together with Adrian Hipwell.

Hannah Witchell said: “Working with FMV – part of the Berry Bros & Rudd business – represents an incredible opportunity for us. Back in 2009 we trusted Berry Bros & Rudd with our wedding gift list and we could never have imagined that ten years later they would be listing our wines! Steeped in history with a reputation for integrity, for us they are the perfect fit for Flint.”

Ben Witchell added: “As a business which understands winemaking and is a huge supporter of premium wine from England, this partnership enables a smaller, boutique winery like ours to continue to strive to make the best product possible. I hope this will be a long relationship that helps us grow within the English wine industry.”

Wine buyer Katherine Dart MW, added: “I know I speak on behalf of the rest of the business when I say how delighted we are to be distributing Flint’s wines to the UK trade via FMV and bringing its wines to Berry Bros & Rudd customers. Our customers are big supporters of home-grown wine and it is fabulous to extend our already excellent English wine offering to incorporate Flint’s wines from Norfolk.”

The announcement follows the latest news from Flint of the launch of its Charmant Rose.

The following Flint wines are available now from FMV: 2017 Flint Vineyard Bacchus (rrp: £16.95) and 2017 Flint Vineyard Rose (rrp: £15.95).
