Fells has added two of Italy’s leading fine wine producers to its portfolio.
As part of a new partnership with ColleMassari Estates, Fells will distribute the producer’s globally recognised Grattamacco and Poggio di Sotto wines in the UK.
“This is a landmark partnership for Fells’ Italian offering,” said Euan Mackay, managing director at Fells. “To be joined by two of the most revered and respected Italian fine wine brands is a measure of the trust we have earned in one of wine’s important countries. Grattamacco and Poggio di Sotto sit perfectly amongst our existing Italian producers and add further lustre to what we already hold as a crown jewel in our portfolio.”
Poggio di Sotto is seen as one of the benchmark names in Brunello di Montalcino, making classic, supremely long-lived examples of the style. Grattamacco is one of the wines which established Bolgheri as a fine wine standard-bearer for Italy, producing some of the first of the legendary Super Tuscans as well as the original Bolgheri DOC.

Grattamacco and Poggio di Sotto will be available from Fells from July 1st.
