Enotria&Coe has announced a major rebrand, bringing back its original name, Enotria, as the distributor embarks on a new phase of growth under Majestic Wine Group ownership.
The move, unveiled today (18 September), marks what interim chief executive and Majestic Wine Group chairman John Colley called “a landmark moment in the history of the Enotria business”.
“This is much more than a change of name – it signals a return to our roots and the start of an exciting new era for our colleagues, our suppliers and our customers,” Colley said.
“Bringing back the Enotria name sends a clear signal to our teams and to the market about our ambitions to get this business back to its very best, and deliver profitable growth both for ourselves and all of our partners.”
Founded as Enotria Wines by Remo Nardone in 1972, the company has built its reputation on premium wine distribution, acquiring Wheeler Cellars in 2008, Great Western Wine in 2010 and Coe Vintners in 2015. The distributor was acquired by Majestic in April 2025.
Alongside the rebrand, Enotria has launched a redesigned website with simplified navigation, improved product searches and a faster ‘quick order’ tool for trade customers. Technical sheets, detailed product pages and a streamlined checkout process aim to make it easier for partners to order from Enotria’s 1,800-strong wine and spirits range.
The new branding will be showcased at Enotria’s Annual Portfolio Tasting on 29 September at The Brewery, London.
Colley added that the changes form part of Majestic Wine Group’s strategy to become “the UK’s pre-eminent wine and spirits supply specialist” and position Enotria as a leading standalone distributor across all trade channels.
