Enotria has announced the addition of 11 new wineries to its premium portfolio, targeting independent merchants as well as the on-trade.

Spanning Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Australia, the US and Chile, Enotria said the new producers reflect its focus on exclusive, long-term partnerships.

From Italy, Berlucchi, Caccia al Piano and Nino Negri are being added to the portfolio.

Berlucchi, best known for pioneering Franciacorta, was named Winery of the Year in the Gambero Rosso Vini d’Italia 2022 guide and is renowned for its traditional-method sparkling wines.

Caccia al Piano, meanwhile, is recognised for its coastal-influenced Super Tuscan wines, while Nino Negri is celebrated for its mountain-grown Nebbiolo wines from Valtellina.

Outside Italy, Markus Molitor from Germany’s Mosel region joins Enotria with a selection of slate-driven Rieslings.

From Austria, Weingut Angerhof Tschida showcases a range of sweet wines crafted by Hans Tschida.

At the same time, marking Enotria’s entry into the Jura, Domaine Sainte Marie adds a new dimension to the distributor’s French portfolio. Also in France, Jean-Marie Bouldy joins from Pomerol on Bordeaux’s Right Bank.

In Australia, Enotria said it has expanded its Margaret River offering through a partnership with McHenry Hohnen, a producer celebrated for its Chardonnay, Bordeaux and Rhône varieties.

Elanto Vineyard also joins from Mornington Peninsula, where it is best known for small-batch Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Moving to Oregon, Enotria has welcomed Elk Cove to its portfolio, a producer recognised for Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay.

Finally, the distributor announced the addition of Villard from Chile’s Casablanca Valley, a winery esteemed for its cool-climate wines.

On the new additions, Phillip White, CEO of Enotria said: “We are delighted to welcome these 11 world-class wineries from Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Chile, the USA and Australia into Enotria’s portfolio, each a leader in its category and a perfect complement to our existing producers.

“These additions strengthen our inspiring and innovative offer for the UK drinks trade, reflecting our commitment to evolving with our customers’ needs and delivering quality, relevance and choice across every style and occasion.”
